How SOAR ProTraining gets delivered

New Earth Village uses the internet to bring training, ideas, people, and support right to your community. No travel costs, no lost time, no uncomfortable, unfamiliar environments. Here's how:

1.  Streamed Audio-Video

SOAR ProTraining videos (audio plus still images) convey the learning material and provide instruction for exercises and small group discussions.

The video is ‘streamed’ or played directly from the New Earth Village web-site to your computer and workshop space. The video is controlled by you, using QuickTime Player. If you don't already have the player in your computer (many do) you can download it here for free :

Download  Apple QuickTime Player for Mac or PC

2.  On-Site TalkWalker

Several people from your community are trained online in small group facilitation. They serve as the on-site facilitators (TalkWalkers) for SOAR ProTraining courses. Their job is to:

  • Organize and manage the training event
  • Operate the video
  • Facilitate workshop activities

3.  Guides

Every training event provides users with clear step-by-step user guides you download and print:

  • A TalkWalker's Guide offers instruction on promoting, readying and managing training events
  • Participant Guides:
    • Summarize the main points
    • Are keyed to the audio-video
    • Serve as post-event refreshers

4.  Four Realms

Participants are encouraged to 'turbocharge' their training experience with the invaluable resources of Connector, Explorer and Advisor in the Four Realms:

  • Ideas
  • Partners
  • Support
