A bio of Peter Bruce

Our CEO and Principal Consultant is Peter Bruce. Peter has worked as a probation officer, family court counsellor, manager, group home director, policy analyst, writer, landscaper, financial planner and documentary photographer.

Peter holds an undergraduate degree in Psychology and a Masters degree in Community and Regional Planning. He is a certified Adult Educator and trained in the strengths-based approach to developing organizations called Appreciative Inquiry, used here in New Earth Village.

Peter and his partner Randi live in Victoria, BC, on Canada’s west coast. Randi is a senior policy executive with the provincial government. They have two grown sons, Harrison (a student) and Robin (a geological engineer).

In his free time, Peter hikes, bikes, reads, gardens, writes and photographs nature and cultures (see 'Gallery').
