Print this page so you can refer to it as you get to know your My Page.
Your Homepage
Log into the Four Realms to access your homepage. In the left and/or right sidebars you will see several boxes, each with a different function. They’re called blocks. Some blocks are sticky - they can’t be moved or deleted. Other blocks can be changed, added, removed, moved around and created by you. Here’s how....
The Edit Icons
Click on ‘Edit this page’ (upper right). Note the icons (symbols) that appear in each block - arrow icons to move the position of the block on the page, an ‘X’ icon to remove the block from the page (don’t worry, you can get it back) an eye icon to hide or show the block and an administrative icon for us. Play with them to see how they work.
Adding Blocks
Find also a block called (would you believe) Blocks. Click on ‘Add.’ A drop-down menu appears offering an array of blocks that you can choose from to place on your homepage. Click on the block you want, then place it where you want using the arrow icons.
Replacing Blocks
Want to bring a block back that you deleted? Just go to ‘Blocks’ and select it from the list.
Here are some nifty sticky blocks to check out:
Four Realms:
This block gives you links to all activities (talking circles, knowledge pots, vessels and Creator training courses that you sign up for.
Wise Words:
This is a collection of quotes from famous and maybe not so famous people. Select Random Glossary, click the edit icon, click choose and then click Wise Words. Then follow the directions to determine how your quotes will appear. A quote from Wise Words will appear in the block and change at the interval you chose.
Calendar:
A handy thing to remind you when the caribou are coming or when its time to meet for that New Earth Village workshop.
Blog Menu:
Everything you need in order to manage your very own blog.
Messages:
Links you to messages from New Earth Village members.
Online Users:
Tells you who’s online at that moment in the activity you’re in.
